on June, 2003 was a great success!

November 2003 - Jon Muth, illustrator and author, visited a River Forest school and painted right on the spot!

Iris dressed as a fairy in honor of visit from David Ellwand and Eugenie Bird (Fairie-ality) in November 2003.

On March 22, 2004, Garth Nix, author of the popular Keys to the
Kingdom
Series and other fantasy novels, signed books at the store.

March 2004 - The renowned Tomie dePaola is surrounded by Magic Tree's kitchen angels.

On Friday April 23, 2004 Amy Timberlake and her husband Phil, who is world famous for his spectacular horse sound effects, visited Magic Tree and read from Amy's book, the Golden Kite Award winner The Dirty Cowboy.

April 2004 - Andy Griffiths came all the way from Australia to talk about his "butt" books, especially his newest, Zombie Butts from Uranus.

Saturday, Sept. 11,2004- Hello! Hello! Dan Zanes came to visit.

On Saturday, Sept. 25th, 2004, Kathrine Holabird lead Magic Tree staff in ballet practice during her visit.
